I have a Mezz PB Kai with the sports grip and well, time and use is taking its toll. I have the option of sending it back to Mezz in Japan to get the original sport grip replaced which costs $60 for the service and $80 for return shipping, plus the shipping on my end which would likely be another $60-80 putting this rewrap job at a whopping $2-220… ouch. I love the feel of the original grip but $200 for a handjob is a little steep. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Personally I would just try to find someone who could rewrap it with something else. Leather in my case…
Look at all the rewrap options at SEYBERTS. They do fast , quality work. I have used thm
for rewraps at least 8 times

Could they sell you the wrap? It's kind of like a grip for a golf club. I'd figure cut off the old one and slip the new one on with baby powder or something similar

Go look at your cue again. Even the picture you posted. Your RUBBER has a seam. They go on just like leather wraps
