The Mezz site says the WX700's come with a Kamui "original S tip" which I believe it is a Kamui brown soft tip, is that correct? I just bought a WX700 and have about 3 hours on it and like it so far. I have played with precat 314's for years using Kamui super soft clear blacks but think I like what seems to be a firmer hit on this Mezz with the brown Soft tip.
This brings me to my 2nd question. What if any difference in playability is there between a Kamui brown soft and a black soft tip, or a brown medium and a black medium? This WX700 with the soft brown tip thus far seems to have a bit less deflection than my precats, has a noticeably firmer hit which I think I like, and doesn't seem to transfer as much side spin when using max left and right spin.
My thoughts are to try a Kamui brown soft on one of my 314's to see if it's hit/playability will transition closer to the WX700.
Thanks for any replies.
