Hi All,

I've seen a few of these beauties around, but was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on how they played? His workmanship looks top notch, and you can definitely see the Black Boar influence in his work.

I checked out his website, and the gallery pictures look phenomenal!

Any thoughts on play/quality/collectability of Michael's cues would be greatly appreciated!

I have!

I have talked to Myron a lot about his Vollmer cue and he loves it. In fact he loves it so much that he's looking for another one.

I just wanted to hear other opinions from Vollmer owners.

vollmer cue plays great but i think the big point are the shaft.

the shafts are fantastic.so he take just for a shaft without ivory $450

I am looking forward to seeing responses on this one.
This will be very interesting to see who responds state side.
That may give me an idea of who else had one sent across the big pond.

As you know, I feel very confident with the performance of the Vollmer cues.
A couple of friends are interested in taking the Jet Black Cue from me.
For now they can borrow while I am still waiting on another.
Hoping to get something really soon.

I will catch up with you via e-mail some time.

A guy around my hood has one ... he listed for sale awhile ago on AZ. Last time I saw him, he still had it.

He's American but got the cue while he was living in Germany. According to him, guys who collect or want a pretty cue get Arthur cue while "players" get a Vollmer.

he told me the price he paid (in Euro) and it wasn't cheap ...

I picked up the Jet Black Ebony Player that Berny had listed in the gallery and I really like how it plays.
A search was initiated for a 6-pointer and let me just say I should have one in the near future.
If the 6-pointer plays anything close to Ebony PJ, I am going to have a pair of great playing cues.
They have a great sound to the hit, awesome balance where the cue feels like it is an extension of my arm, and the first cue moves the cue ball around with very little effort and very little off center hits will induce a good amount of english.
Nothing like being able to control whitey...

Still hoping to see if others experienced the same things as I have been telling Mike he should investigate one.
