just to throw out a guess i would have to say SM might come out the champ. im not sure how he playes on bar boxes ( if thats what they are playing on) but he played awesome at the Viking event in Columbus. he beat Shawn Putnam in the 4th or 5th round and ended up winning the tournament from the losers bracket over keven tomlin. in there second set of the finals he won 7-0. and if not SM i would say JB i guess. please tell me how it comes out.

Isn't

Brian Groce from Indianapolis? I am pretty sure I used to play
him when I lived in Indy in 96-97.

In case you miss my thread {wow}. Shannon did not cash. It is on bar tables, loser break, race to 9. This was a tough tournament. There was probably 15 people in this tournament that had an honest chance to win at this format. 5 players sold for $200 or more. Jesse sold for $300, Brian Groce $275, Jason Miller and Denver barger around $250 and Josh Johnson at $200. Jason7-8th just in the tournament money. Jesse in 4th. The other players did not cash. Josh just won the Orlando pro event and Dan Walton{Waldo} beat him first round and I beat him in the loser side match for 2 and out. This tournament is always tough. The favorites very rarely win this event. Brian Groce has won it 5 times, but several of those tournament had champion caliber players in them making it a toss up for the eventual winner. The only ACTUAL FAVORITE, before the tourney started, to win the event, has to be Rudy Luat from the Phillipines. Watch for the next. Great payouts. First was $2400 and 2nd $1425 with only 40 players. Sam

Kevin Hall 17 years old, form Michigan 3rd don't know prize amount
Jesse Bowman 4th
Mike Minor and Dan[Waldo} Walton 5-6th

Luat was at a tourney in Ft. Wayne about 3-4 years ago. I don't think anyone got to 7 with him. He beat me 9-3 in the finals. Sam
