Might play DeChaine tonight...

OP probably won't get mike tonight, unless he's at Turning Stone...that starts tonight, if I'm not mistaken.

The name of the place in Providence is "Snookers".

There is a "Straight Shooters" in Fall River. Don't go there.

That's what I said but the OP insisted it was "Shooters", which was odd because I know that Dechaine plays in the Wed tournament in Snookers. Hope the guy did not drive to the wrong place.

Yep I was wrong it's Snookers. Musta been high yesterday....

I didn't end up driving down there but I will probably go next week or the week after. The issue is coordinating with my friends to all get there and it was kind of short notice.

Might play DeChaine tonight...

Not to be mean but what are we talking about ?

You don't know him...

Don't know how to find him...

Don't live near him...

Won't gamble with him...

No reason to believe he'll even play you....

I guess you might play Archer , Strickland or SVB "Tonight" just as well.

:)

Sorry , just a strange thread IMO. Could be just me.

It was you. Dechaine plays in a weekly tournament in Snookers, he might have played him, but so might the other 20-30 people that show up there on Wed. So if you head to Snookers on Wed, and there is no major tournament that he may be traveling to, there is a decent chance you can draw him in the weekly. There are probably 4-5 other people you can put in Mike's class or close to it that you would not want to play in that tournament, even if one was an A player. One of the regulars beat Strickland in an event there a while ago, by more than 3-4 games if I remember.

Taken.

When I read the title it just sounded like there was something set up.

We have a quite few tours that run thru here regularly as well. Very few of those guys are going to line up with you just cause you say want to. ;) But thats exactly why I got my tour card. :)

Yep, Mike is pretty nice though, if there is nothing going on he'd play with you. Probably, at least if he liked you hehe. Dechaine was in Snookers one Sat when I went there, he played with my son for a while (who's 12). My son was a bit shy when I said they should play, Mike came up to him and introduced himself.

Although I may be biased because I see him in Snookers often and we get along pretty well.

I see.....

Reminded me a famous saying.

"you just can't climb in the ring with Ali 'cause you think you box"

:)

Funny thing last night on the turning stone stream. Almost all of the players in the matches on the streaming table were regulars at Snookers in the Wed tournament.

Dechaine, then the owner of Snookers played one of the regulars there, then another Snookers regular played Robb Saez.

If you want another chance to play Dechaine, he should be at Snookers tonight, but is going traveling after that, plus he's hanging around the forums now at least checking this thread, if he sees this, you may have a game :D
