Might we see a Gorst sweep of the DCC all-around?

I want to say that when Efren won the 9-ball and one pocket, Dave Matlock beat Efren in the finals of the banks. But, it’s been many many years, so I may have mixed up when Efren played Matlock.

Dave beat Brumback to win banks in '05. BTW, iirc Dave had Efren down 2-1 in the 1p and lost. Had he won that match i believe that would have pretty much given him the all-around.

What was it, 9-ball, 10-ball and 8-ball? Since Johnston City 1962, you'd have to include One Pocket imo. JC and Stardust and most of the early all-arounds included Straight Pool, 9-Ball and One Pocket. Then Banks started to replace Straight Pool. It would not make a very well rounded "all around" not to include One Pocket.

Scrolling through Archer's tournament winnings, I don't see anything that looks like an all around sweep of anything.

I can't remember but I do remember he won all three events and in the Straight pool he ran out then continued the run into the 200s.
