Here's a 5 point Mike Bender cue with Ebony nose and Lacewood points/butt. The Lacewood has a ton of depth to it and really catches the light. The balance and workmanship on Mike's cues are really first-rate stuff.

Count the points again. Mike usually makes cues with points in multiples of 5 points. Really nice cue. If you would be interested in a trade for your cue let me know.
 
Thanks for catching that. Just looked closer and confirmed it's actually a 5 pointer.
Appreciate your offer and will definitely keep that in mind.
 
How hard is yours to screw together? I have one that is a workout just to screw the damned thing together.

I showed it to Dave Jones (local cue maker) a few years back and he thought the recuts are Holly and (possibly) Cocobolo. He seemed genuinely very impressed with the workmanship and when it came to the recuts, he jokingly referred to them as just "showing off" his skills at that point.

Jeez, that's tough to say. Currently not for sale and I don't recall seeing anything similar on the used market.
New I think it was around $1600-1900 or so. I purchased it used out of collection about 20 years ago.

It's a snug fit while screwing together and definitely requires more effort than most joints. Too tight is probably a good problem to have and I'd think the metal on wood joint would make it a bit easier over time.
