Good morning,
I have a Mike Bender cue that has been one of my main two playing cues for 15+ years. My other main cue is a Lambros. I have been intrigued by these low deflection shafts and was wondering if you can get a low deflection with the proper joint thread for a Bender and if anyone had tried one on a Bender. Also, anyone have a strong opinion on which low deflection to get assuming I want to stay around 12.75mm.
Thanks!
Stephen

Yes. You're gonna get about a million different takes on ld shafts. All i can tell you is to try as many as possible before buying. Its like beer/whiskey, no matter what people tell you only you can decide what you like. Mezz, Tiger, Predator, OB, Danielson(SS360) all make quality products. My advice: if you've used a Bender for 15yrs and like it i wouldn't change. Going from maple to ld is a big change.

I'm not sure you can buy a LD shaft with Bender's 3/8-14 threads, but you could always send Mike the LD blank and have him thread the shaft for you.

If you are looking for an LD shaft for your Bender we can help you out. You can get your choice of one of our 6 different LD shafts (https://www.obcues.com/categories/OB-Plus-Shafts/) and we can special build one for you to fit your Bender. It will be 3/8 x14 and the joint diameter would be 0.840" which is standard for Bender AFAIK. Special build OB shaft will cost $268 and take no longer than 4 weeks.

It will be Made in the USA by us and will have a lifetime warranty against warpage.

If you would like to order one, please email sales@obcues.com or call us toll free at 877-399-9901 and we will be happy to make this happen for you.
