I got this cue from Duc a couple months ago. Mr. Bender cut the handle a couple inches below the full splice in the Davis blank. He cored the handle with what looks like maple to give the cue a good balance and playing weight. There he installed a phenolic ring that is kind of hard to even see. This is a fairly rare excellent hitting cue. I'm asking SOLD shipped in the CONUS. Here's a link to Duc's thread from when I bought it from him. If you want additional pics or info.
