Mike Bender/ Joey Gold-Cognoscenti shaft machine for sale!!!
I paid $3000- for this slide back in 1994 while working the WPA World Championships outside Chicago. Mike Bender was the original builder/owner of the machine. I don't know when Joey Gold got it but he used it for a long time to build his Cognoscenti Cues. That was all I needed to hear to buy it, so I bought it from Joey! It works great and has served me well for all these years. The buyer will be getting 6 templates; shaft, butt, butt w/wrap grooves, straight, and two that I never used. It has two tailstock live centers for doing different lengths. It was originally used only or butts and shafts. I had Joey mill two more slots that allow turning of fronts and handles. You can see the way the second tailstock is used in the picture below. The price does NOT include the saw it is sitting on. There is a little work to be done to adapt it to your saw; a little drilling and tapping. Price is $2000- + shipping. I will crate it and ship it anywhere.
