Mike Fusco’s World Famous Poolroom Philly’s Boulevard Social and Athletic Club. FUSCO’s !980’s

It was above the Gaudios’s. I lived on the BLVD a few blocks down. Learned to play pool there (not very well, lol). When I was a kid in the early 80’s kids could play for free on the weekend mornings. Saw a lot of great games there. I’m sure you remember the “exhibition” table with the bleachers around it. Great memories

An AzB-er named "Barbara" many years ago said Mike was not any relation to Pete and Jimmy and owned a pool room in New Jersey.

Here's my Pete Fusco photo taken with Keith McCready in, I think, 2003-ish era at Super Billiards Expo, the old place, the one that was pretty cool in Valley Forge.

Yes that was where Mike would play people straight pool and quit in the middle of games when he was losing.. and the rabbit and veasey played on it alot. Saw Petey Fusco run out like 85 to beat mike one time and petey wanted to complete the run so I racked the balls til he finally missed. He ran 135. Saw Gil play many including Spanish Mike and bring paper bags full of cash wrapped up like kilo’s in electrical tape!!!
