Go see him if you find the time

Mike Masey is a lot of fun. I saw him in Switzerland last autumn. He did his standard trickshot routine ( I even got to play along on one. We made 14 balls in one shot, both shooting synchronized, and making 7 balls each, after he'd set them up) And then offered play the champ (the pool hall offered a years free playing for anyone who could beat him best of three frames 8-ball). Between his show blocks, he was very friendly and talkative. I asked him for a game, and offered him 30 sFr. (about 20 US $) a frame. But he declined the money and played me a race to 7 'just for fun'. Needless to say I didn't stand a chance. I won 1 frame, when I ran it from the break, but lost all others for a final score of 7-1.

Bob and Eydie- It looks like the Expo is going to be a HUGE success! I wish I could be there to see it, maybe next year! I'm constantly reading posts and emails about the Midwest Expo and Open and am really impressed with the talent you are bringing in to add to the spotlight of the entire event! Mike Massey is a great addition and I'm sure you'll have more additions before day 1 of the event! Keep me/us posted!
Thanks and good luck,
Zim

I saw Tennesse Tarzan do his tricks in Vegas last week.
He has a monstrous stroke.
Mike's a fine human being too. Very nice and always has a smile in his face.

I have been associated with Mike for 30 plus years. Janice and I both watch Mike "in Action" at every chance. He's got a lot of talent, and is really a nice friend. If you get a chance, come to the mid-west open, and sweat his action. You will like it....

I agree. Mike's one of the nicest and most approachable guys in the business today. Wish there were more pool players like him.
