Mike Sigel Cue FYI

Hello everyone,

I inquired to everyone about Mike Sigel's custom cues about 3 or 4 months ago because I was pondering ordering one.

Well, I've since ordered one, custom made by Mike, a few months ago and received it last week.

I have to say, after playing with cues by Schon, Southwest, Helmstetter, and Predator, this cue is amazing. I feel that it hits more accurately than any other cue I've played with thus far and the craftsmanship is extraordinary. For anyone who is considering purchasing one of Sigel's custom cues, I highly recommend them.

one thing i love about his cues, is not only are they thinner than most, but they are balanced very, light. my Mali is 16.5 oz. mike sigel's 19oz. cue feels like 17 oz. what weight did you get, and doesn't it feel a lot lighter than the weight you ordered? great balance. p.s. did you get one of his inexpensive $200 cues, that i believe are mass produced, or hand made $2000 job? just curious, not trying to be cruel, thanks.

He informed me of his cue balancing procedure and I must say that it is exceptional. My cue is 19 3/4 oz. and it feels light as a feather. It lays bridge heavy instead of back heavy - UNBELIEVABLE! I did order a custom cue so I paid a lot for it but I must say, of all the cues I've played with in the last 13 years, this is the finest in every way. WOWSA!

Hey Travis where have you been? Glad you like your cue, get pics as soon as you can.Does your dad still have cues for sale? Talk to you later. ;)

you know i've said it before and i shall say it once more, there are only 3 things important in a cue. the tip: it should be the most reliable miscue free, and positive feedback hitting tip in the world. i choose triangle. the cleanleness of the shaft. the shaft should be so clean, so slick, so smooth, that it makes a babys ass feel like osoma bin laden's beard! and last but hell no not least, the balance, perhaps, the most important aspect, it should be light, with just a touch of meat. sounds like you found (dare i say it)-------------- the "Ultimate" cue.

Hey Andy, I've been here less lately. I've been very busy with school, work, and pool. I don't think my Dad is selling cues any longer but I can't guarantee it. How have you been? I'm getting ready for my big move to Boston in four months. I can't believe it. It's getting so close! I played in my first pro event in 8 years a few weeks ago - the Joss NE Quincy stop. I finished 25th. Not great but not bad considering I lost my first match. The next event was the Carolina Fury tour event in Raleigh. I finished 3rd there. I've got another one next weekend in Winston-Salem - I'll let you know how I do ;)

How have you been???

Mike sigel cue is not as great as cue by Master Edwin Reyes!

In the last 2 hours, this guy has replied 6 times, and all 6 were to say how good Mr. Reyes' cues are. I'm not saying that Mr. Reyes doesn't make a good cue, but I want to make sure that Pogiboy can say something else. (Remember, don't drink the Kool-aid)

No one makes the "BEST" cue. We all have opinions about cuemakers. It's just my opinion and yours.
I think I build a hell of a cue, the next poster might disagree and say so in so builds the best.
It's just what fits you best.
Therefore, it's not fair to claim this guy over the next.
Personal opinions.
