I got to meet Nick through Hal Mix, who was in his corner (coaching) at one of Jay Helfert's event in LA (maybe in 92?). He was such a nice guy and he was chewing gum.

I've gotten the chance to talk to Nick a few times over the years, and he has always been a very approachable, friendly, down-to-earth guy.

Awesome match. Got a noob epiphany off it.
These guys run hundreds of balls ahead or behind. In 9 ball nearly all the work is done and all they have to do is keep getting to the next ball.
Wonder if PJ can tell us why NV missed the case ball. lulz...

Now on that last 9 ball, was it frozen to the CB? If not, then Mike blatantly fouled (double-hit the CB) even if the 9 stayed on the table.

that's really the key because the four railer was on imo
