IDoes anyone like his older instructionals and based on that, do you think the new ones will be worth buying?

Our community library has (1) of his old VHS Tapes, it is from when I believe he was affiliated with Joss cues. The Tape is like Pool 101, I have personally viewed it many times, and think it is a good basic/intermediate instructional tape.

I have recommended it to several others to look at, they all got some help from the tape.

But it cost me ZERO to check out. If it was still available in the store for under 20 Bucks I would purchase it.

Just looked at the ITP Web-Site,

Internet Price: $59.95 for 3 DVD seems like a fair price.

Mike is/was one of the Games GREAT PLAYERS

I see that Mike Sigel has made 3 brand new instructional DVD'S and they will soon be available online. Does anyone like his older instructionals and based on that, do you think the new ones will be worth buying?

The videos I've looked at are perfect pool and run out pool and both go over patterns in 8 ball, 9 ball and 14.1. They are both very good.

I remember one of the earlier versions of the Virtual Pool 3d game, before Jeanette Lee lended her name to it, had Mike doing little instructional video clips. Since fundamentals have no role in the game he describes the use of English. Seeing as I was a total beginner then it was fairly helpful. I'd say he is an effective teacher.

I'm wondering whether these are in fact NEW or just his old vids now put on DVD.He did have an old "Perfect Pool" tape series which included "perfect Nine Ball", Perfect 8 Ball" and "Perfect Straight pool".

His advertised (New ???) 3 DVD series is also called "Perfect Pool."After first reading the add at the IPT link, I thought the 3 DVD'S were about the following:
* Mastering the Stroke
* Mastering the Shots
* Mastering the Game

This MAY be a fresh new set of DVD'S by mike, or then again it might be his old vids put on DVD. If anyone knows or finds out, please post to let everyone know.

I have the VHS tapes, and from what I have seen of the ads for the DVD's, they are brand new. I thought the tapes were very good, especially the Straight pool section; well worth the money. And I found Sigel to be very engaging and entertaining.
