Mike Stacey Cues????

I was just wondering if anyone has any info on Mike Stacey Cues. You know quality, workmanship, and overall is he a top tier cuemaker. Im thinking of buying one but dont want to get the cue and it is low quality..THanks for any info. Kevin

Mike is a friend of mine and a very good cue maker. I think he has learned a lot from Prather and a couple of other established cue makers. I bought one from him and it is a very nice cue. I believe he has some cues being listed in the Blue Book of Cues this year and I don't think they list just anything in there. I don't think he'll release a low quality cue. He's a pretty meticulous guy. Sam
 
He makes nice looking cues. Probably the most figured piece of cocobolo I ever had on a cue. Sold it though because it was too heavy.
www.indyq.com usually has a few.
