Handicaps are based on known ability and on state and national rankings. Any handicapping questions will go
to a 5 person committee, that the tournament director is not a part of, for a vote. If you know your handicap in
advance and you are not comfortable with it, please pass on this tourney. If you play in the Tuesday night B/C
tourney as a B player and you can?t wear a dress, you will play as a B player in these events. If you are not
allowed to play in the B/C tourney you will be rated an A player. If an unknown player is mishandicapped, the
committee reserves the right to adjust rankings after the tourney starts.
For more info or to find your handicap, call Mike Athens (515)865-1890

if you read the small print , i put in there that all women play as c players but 2. i think this is fair but last time some poster thought it was funny if he brought in a known champion and wanted her to play as a c. I let him know that if a women comes in and plays b level or better she will be handiapped fairly just like any other player. and yes kids 14 and under get in for only 15 bucks. is this a great country of what?

thanks

I play as a elite or I goto 6. somebody like baraks, boweman, vilmont goto 7. You should come play. it is an easy drive for you.

hey mike

this is Todd from storm lake. where am i at in the handycapp? the leagues i play aren't handycapped. let me know i might come down for this. thanks

we can handicap based on known ability. todd would be a b player.

basically if you are really good you would be an A. if you are not so good you would be a c and if you are not a pro, a or c , you would be a b. I think almost 85% of the players that goto a tourney would be a b player.

to me a c player cannot run a table and would only make 3-4 balls at the most.

an A player has the ability to put multiple rack runs together.

It is always tough to handicap when you have players coming from way out of town but I know who to call for info in a 5 state area.
