just made first set of milk duds.just a few hits but they seem like unpressed triangles to me. i like them but, whats the point.or maybe i havent used it enouph.how r the dudleys from mueller.any different?i now have triangles soaking in milk.what is your opinions, thanks

My biggest problem with milk duds is that once pressed you barely have enough usuable tip height left to play with. If I could get a thick enough Elk Master or Triangle to start with I might have different results.

I have been making milk duds for awhile now, I make them out of elkmaster, lepro, triangles and water buffalo. I use the elks on all my cues, and most of my team uses them as well. Making a milk dud just IMO makes the tip more consistant by holding its shape, and not mushrooming. To make a good milk dud you just need to play with it till you get what you like and stick with it.
