Mini radial vs regular Radial.

a friend asked me if he could play with shaft that has radial joint, on a butt that has a mini radial pin? I don't know? Let me ask the people at AZB and maybe I could give you a better answer.

What's the big different between regular radial and mini radial? Just the length of the pin?

Can he play with a shaft that has a radial joint into a mini radial on the butt?

Should be fine if the shaft threads are in good shape. I would tell him no captain hook breaks or huge power draw shots though.

Ok so it's fine to use a regular radial shaft.
Since the regular pin is longer on a "normal" radial, there must be some "space" left when using a mini radial. Could or should you fill that space with something? Is that the reason you should not "power break" or "power draw"

Short pin, not the same ridgidity as with the full length pin..
