Mini tournaments at DCC

What's the usual deal for signing up for the mini tournaments? Can it be done in advance through the DCC website or do you have to sign up on site or what? I never played in one...
 
I was wondering the same thing. I may be makeing the trip also I hope someone knows something , or some ifo about the mini -tourny's<<ED

I entered one last year, Thursday night, I think. It was announced over the PA, and signup was at the tournament desk....pay the money, and you're in!

I don't think there is online registration, as the mini's are unscheduled.

I was also was wondering this and emailed Paul Smith a few weeks ago. His reply should cover some of your questions, "Sign ups will only be taken at the event, by the mini tournament director. In the past we had many people sign up ahead of time and either not play or sell their spot to someone else. This has resulted in lots of confusion at the start of each mini. So, this year no early sign ups and selling your spot is prohibited."

I assume you must mean "Scott" Smith, not "Paul" -- unless there is another Smith involved!
