MiniDV Editing Software

I just purchased a Panasonic GS320 MiniDV camcorder and am trying to decide on software to purchase. I don't foresee doing a ton of editing and am wondering if I could get by with a free program. I will mainly be using it to display recorded video on a website.

Any suggestions?

Editing !

Try ! Apple Final Cut Express ! Really good software for video editing . And if your camcorder has firewire ( IEEE Port ) the video will transfer faster in to the computor .

PInnacle is an easy to use editing software.

Pinnacle is what I used to edit the "Mercedes Having Fun!" and "Jay Cho Runs 10" videos that are linked to in my sig line.

Great professional software, has been used to edit many feature films, does take a lot of getting to grips with though, I would definitely suggest going through the tutorials especially if you are a novice video editor.
