This May my work is going to take me up to Minneapolis for a few days. I may be able to break away one night and check out a local pool hall. Where I am, the conditions and equipment are (I am guessing) average to below average, and the company is definitely below average. I would like to spend some time at a nice room,...if Minneapolis has one. I know great rooms are harder and harder to come by these days. Would the Minneapolis people here be kind enough to recommend their best place or places?

Thanx in advance

It has been a while since I lived in Minneapolis; however there were a couple of nice rooms when I lived there.

There was Shooters in Burnesville, which is south of the city. North of the city was Billiards Cafe (now Three Stooges, I believe).

Both have plenty of 9 foot tables. Jimmy Wetch also owned another one north of the City but I never visited and cannot remember the name of that one.

Good luck.

Best run room - minneapolis area

SHOOTERS BILLIARDS in south suburbs is all you can ask for in a very nice room. good safe parking and plenty of all size tables. 64 tables all with SIMONIS.
