Mint GC II

About what is a mint and I mean perfect 9 ft GC II worth? I have an aunt with one in her basement that has been sitting under a cover for a long time. She had been holding onto it figuring one of her sons, grandsons or someone in her family would want it and she would give it to them. Well there have been no local takers and on a recent visit to Texas she found out I play pool and it is now mine for the taking. All I have to do is go up there, take it apart, load it up and bring it home at which time I'll have a mechanic set it up. I think I can do the trip up and back for about $500 and then I am figuring on spending about $500-600 for setup and new cloth. Btw, there is sentimental value in this too as I saw my uncles playing on it and I actually recall being allowed to hit some balls on it as a youngster.

No brainer - GET IT. Essentially you are paying $500 (moving costs) for a mint GCII. The set up charge doesn't enter into it since you would be paying a mechanic for any table you buy. Even if it is this or no table at all then it is still worth it for $1,100.

And the sentiment stays in the family.

Yep. I am already starting the think about how I am going to rearrange my place to make room for it since it will be going into my den/family room.

did you go get this table? where exactly is it located. if you decide to pass on it please let me know. i'd love to have it.

Haven't gone up to get it yet. I am trying to plan out the best time to go up factoring in time to visit other relatives in Virginia that I haven't seen in years.
