Misaligned pin?

I have a butt that began life as a Rounceville blank and was finished by a cue maker who I don’t want to name. It rolls perfectly on its own but when I attach a shaft there’s a distinct wobble. I tried it with various shafts all of which are dead straight and there is wobbling with all of them. I assume the problem is a misaligned pin. Is it an easy fix?

The pin or the butt facing is the most likely problem. Facing is quick, the pin would need to be replaced if it is the problem. A quick trip to a competent cue mechanic will tell you in a matter of minutes. The pin could be seen to move up and down when rolling the cue butt if it is the problem and the wobble is sever.
