Do you think the actual size of the country relative to the US as a whole might be an issue? I mean the 'king of the hill' in just 1 of our States would have about the same demographic right? Mileage/money/etc... looks like a fight night from from one of Ray Hansen' streamed events.

I think it's an interesting idea: provide an organized, standardized venue for money matches.
If Hard Times Bellflower invested in a good streaming set-up, table #1 could become known as the Money Match Table in the U.S. Stienway would be a would good candidate too. Las Vegas is better from a betting standpoint (legal, etc.), but there doesn't seem to be a stable, high quality room there.
The biggest obstacle is "what attracts the players?" Why should a player from Chicago and another from St. Louis travel to NY or LA for a match?
Who knows, by providing a free, high quality stream we might be able to pick up some viral viewers and gain some publicity for the game (that's not the primary purpose, but a secondary/possible outcome).
