Money for wins

I thought the players were supposed to get money for each match won. But the list says they all got 5K. Do they have to wait until the first round is over or what?

All players eliminated each round are paid on a sliding scale based on
win percentage, they can't post the final purses until those stats
are tabulated.

There was, I can't seem to find it now though, perhaps they've changed their minds.
