Anyone out there doesn't like the moori medium tips? let me know your opinions why you don't like them? what tips do you actually prefer?

the whole with the tip and joint is because im designing a new cue priced at $1600 from Tim, and I am just trying to max out the playability.

Thanks.

I was thinking that le pro must be very common and popular. With this overly commercialized moori tip i dont know whats so good about it. Le pro seems to be low maintenanced and a more solid feel, no?

I love the Moori's as long as the are real and installed correctly....
Another tip to consider is the Sniper, Probably my favorite tip

For some reason I love moori meds. for a month then to me they seem to start getting a little hard and I began to have to scuff it up quite a bit and they end up not lasting very long. My favorite tip is the snipers because the seem to hold the shape for a long time and don't seem to last for about 6+ months for me. Although my tip guy was out of snipers so I tried an everest and so far its not too bad but still like the sniper better.

Le pro = I don't have to mess with my tip ever..

I do like the le pro tip as it's the tip I've been playing with for two years non-stop and have had no disatifactions with. It's cheap, durable, and hard.. It's not top of the line or whatever but whatever! It works.

Which LePro tip are you guys talking about that is so good? In the box of 50 is it the one on the top left, middle right second row, or the bottom right top row?

My point is that these are some of the most inconsistent tips on the market. How anyone can count on their next tip feeling the same as the one before is beyond my comprehension.

Sure they're cheap! That's because they aren't processed with any effort to insure they are consistent. Laminated tips, for the most part, provide that consistency...some more than others.

All tips are cheap if you spread the money spent over the time they are used. If a tip last you a year and you play 100 days in one year, you are paying approx. 35-40 cents per outing if you buy the most expensive tip out there.

dakaratestar, you are buying a $1600.00 cue. The only way to maximize playability is to have a Moori, Sniper, Kamui, or Talisman (The new ones, not the old) installed. They are the top tips bar none! You can't ask anyone which tip YOU should use. They all have different characteristics and only by trying them, will you know which is for you. Those four will give you the best start towards solving your tip dilemma.

I love Moori tips, but have switched to Snipers. I like the Sniper tips even more.

i have been struggling with tips.

never tried a moori, but have tried triangle and snipers.i went back to lepro.

I have been using Moori III until recently when I had a Sniper installed by KV.
Love the fact that the Sniper holds it shape better than the Moori and therefore requires less scuffing or shaping.
Going to be trying Kamui on my next cue so I will hopefully see if the opinions I read about the Kamui are true (suppose to be equally as good as Sniper - if not better - but I have yet to determine that).

i started with le pro's.the harder tips didn't seem to work as well for me.

i want to try some other tips as well, but for the time being i'll use the le pro's.

I have been a Moori Medium user for years. I have tried other tips but always went back to the Moori. Untill.. I discovered the Kamui Med soft. I love them. They hit like a soft tip, and hold their shape very well. I feel i have more controll with this tip. I have tried Moori softs and really didn't like them but the Med Soft is the right combo I belive. Give em a try.
