Moori IV tips

Hello everyone,

Has anyone had any problems with these tips delaminating at about the third layer from the glue side?

I have glued a few of these tips on and just barely pushed on the side of the tip before trimming and the tip has separated at about the third layer.

I have installed well over a thousand Moori tips and have never had a quality issue until this new less layer version came out. These tips are in the blister pack with the fancy hologram stickers on them.

Thank you.

Where are you getting them from? are you sure they are authentic?

I was thinking the same thing...

They have everything that is claimed to make them the real deal and they are from a main supplier that claims they are the real deal, other than That how can you really know for sure? These days anything can be copied to perfection but lack the quality.

I have installed over a thousand Moori tips over the years and never had a problem until this latest version came out.

There is a reason that I do not offer Moori tips. I don't sell them and won't usually even install them. If someone asks me about them I recommend something else. But that is just me.

I had one box a few years ago that delaminated on a bunch of the tips that came out of it. But other than that I have had very few delamination problems with Moori tips. I buy from the same source in Japan that I have dealt with for many years.

There is nothing wrong with the tips. The Moori quality is known throughout the world and are still the #1 tip out there.

Once again, it's cockpit error. I'm not saying the OP doesn't know what he is doing but if it's delaminating at about the 3rd layer, that tells me the tool is dull or the installer is exerting too much lateral force against the tip and/or too much heat to cause it to separate at the most likely area; the base of the tip where all the force is being exerted. That's the stress point.

I could be wrong and it could be that Moori tips are horrible tips. Perhaps they should be burned at the stake and we should all use overpriced Kamui but there are many of us who know and like Moori for a reason.
