Moori Problem

I use a Moori Med. & this will be the 2nd tip in a row that will not hold its shape no matter what.You can shape it to a nickel hit 5 balls & its on its way to a quarter that quick.Can anybody help

I've never had a problem with Moori tips, have the same tip on my playing cue, a Predator, for 2 years. Haven't touched with anything except chalk since it was put on. Maybe you got a bad batch or they weren't put on properly.

Where did you get the tip? If it came from ebay, it could very well be a fake. If it came from someone else, you may want to find out where that individual got it.
 
I bought them from Cue Compenents,& I know they were put on right because Sherm Adamson put them right in front of me.

I use Moori on all my playing cues. I have gone from MM - MS

Never had this problem.

I use Moori III Slow (soft) tips on all of my cues and i've never had a problem with them. They don't mushroom or lose their shape. I've tried a lot of different tips and Moori's are my favorite.

i KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN. I HAD A MOORI MED. PUT ON AT DCC BY GUIDO. I'M NOT DOWNING HIM BUT HE TOLD ME THAT ALL HIS TIPS WERE TESTED FOR HARDNESS WHEN HE GETS THEM BY HIM ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER JARGON. SO I SPENT 45 DOLLARS FOR THE MOORI AND A SHAFT CLEANING. THE 2ND WEEK OF FEBRUARY IT POPPED AFTER ABOUT 1 MONTH OF PLAY. LATTER TO THAT I HAD A CRAZY TIME KEEPING A DIME SHAPE. IT WOULD GO FLAT AFTER 2-3 HOURS OF PLAY AND I HAD MULITPLE UNCHARACTERISTIC MISCUES. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AS THIS WAS THE FIRST MOORI I HAD EVER USED. I LOVED THE WAY IT PLAYED OTHER THAN THE USUAL SHAPING INVOLVED AND MISCUES.

I never had a problem with them...sounds like ppl are getting ahold of the many counterfeits that are out there...I get mine straight from Seyberts store...

I had 2 tips left from Cue Compenents & 1 that came with a new predator shaft,right off you can see the 2 from Cue Comp. are a different color than the 1 that came from predator.They have more of a cardboard color to them.
