Has anyone used Morado in a cue before. My buddy has some he wants to use in a cue. He says it is a favorite with high end speaker companies. The $10,000-$15,000 kind. I have some turned down into dowels and if you tap it on the floor it has a extremely high "ping". Just wondering how stable it is and if any of you have experience with it. Thanks in advance, I will post some pics of it tomorrow.

Morado is more commonly known as Pau Ferro and has been used in cues quite often over the years. It is used in the construction of guitars also.

A favorite wood of mine. I love the hit of Pau Ferro. Also know as Bolivian rosewood, but it is not a rosewood.

Dufferin used to make a pretty basic cue for Brunswick and they told me it was Morado. I have used it in making jump cues.
