Morakami fail

Customer brought his own tip ,a clear Morakami ss ,while trimming tip fell off clear pad ,anyone else have issues ? Or is this isolated

Update could it be heat uild up while sanding?

It could be a few different issues. One, yes, it could be getting too hot, causing the glue to fail. Another could be it was glue starved or tool pressure from trimming.

Either way, I don't give it much thought unless it happens to the same type of tip multiple times.

It came off while shaping ,i tried other and same thing ,tip backing feels sticky like not dry but clear pad still on ferrule ,i went ahead and glued tip to clear and all is well

Call the guy who sold/had them imported and see how THAT goes...
