More fun to watch. Marboys Open. 9-ball

JJ thinks AJ Manis will be a top 5 player within five years.

But Chua is the best player in the Philippines now. He plays with flair, style and boldness. His game is not like anyone else’s on the WNT tour.

He suffocated Yapp in the finals. Started with a four pack and led 5-0 and 10-2.

Talk about fluid. His game sped up in the second half of the match and he was pocketing almost everything with ease. Just like how all the old timers were talking about Sigel and Archer on the other thread.

And The pockets were super tight. He was in dead punch.

maybe he will, who knows. the pinoys say the same about young jaybee sucal. sometimes these predictions holds up, sometimes they don't. the only thing that's a certainty is that every other year there's a new prediction of a pinoy youngster..

Time will tell, but it appears like he’s headed that way.

It would be cool if there was one standout player a gear above the rest of the pack for a few years.

With the current format of pool, MR WNT pool specifically it’s very unlikely there will be a breakout dominating player as the break and short form races level the playing field a lot. Where as 14.1 was a game that clearly would show who’s best.

Will be interesting to see how it all plays out

Best

He did the same thing in the Yuan8 open final. Blitzed it. Top class player, top class bloke.

I saw Alcaide with two horrible shots at hill hill in his match. The pockets are tight and the pinoys were dominating left and right. Chua was almost unstoppable, AJ had a chance.
