More of an "Ask the Case Maker" question

The oval tubes are special made extruded plastic tubes. You cannot find them available from plastic tube suppliers unless you happen to find a extrusion tube maker who has a mold ready and who happens to be making them for another client.

The tip about buying cheap cases and stripping them to use the tubes is a great one. Many of us got started this way. I just happened to tear down my $400 Jay Flowers cases to do it when I got started
I have seen folks strip the foam core cases and build new cases around that. I have advised new makers to buy el cheapo cases and use the plastic tubes in them. Believe it or not the, in my opinion, inferior interior found on some el cheapo cases is the exact same as what you find on some very high end cases.
For ours I have made the same superior interior that we developed for the JB Cases - seen here - www.jbcases.com/ordering.html - available on many new models of Sterling cases. These Sterling cases can be had for as low as around $40 through www.cuesight.com and then you can have what I feel is the best interior on the market for your case. You can also check Ebay - sometimes they are selling cases there super cheap.
Really if you are just planning on doing one or two cases now then use this method to get your interiors and later if you want to go bigger then I am sure we can help you out.

Im actually looking for a tube that is at least 47inch long as it is for my 3/4 split English pool cue. Thats why i was hoping that i could buy a section from someone who would be able to cut to length. I know i could joint 2 together then cut to length but its not really best practice is it?.....and i'd always know
Id only be holding 1 cue in it so would only need a small tube (a 1x1 i think you guys would call it).

Wouldn't two plumbing tubes cut to fit work for you? Two of those taped together with leather wrapped around it would form an oval. You can plug the tube with a smaller diameter plastic tube to fit the handle of your cue.
Stroke Sports in Germany, www.strokesports.de makes snooker cases using tubes like this.
