More Pool Tournaments Than Ever.

Is it my imagination or are there more tournaments going on these days than in days past? I don't know if I am just more aware of them or that there are far more going on today than there were, say 10 years ago.

I'm talking about regional and national, not just local tournaments.

In the past I have not really paid attention due to lack of available time to travel, but they seemed to be scarce except for the major ones. Things have changed for the better and now that I am looking around at upcoming tournaments it seemes u can find them rather easily. I would say events are on the rise.
