More Pros Using Revo Shafts?

Dare I say it, but 'Cuetec' is making an all black shaft now too. I just saw a YouTube match between SVB and Thorpe where SVB was using it. Not sure if it's a competitor of the Revo and I'm certainly not suggesting other players are playing with a Cuetec shaft, just an observation.

Look who just caught up lol seriously revo has been letting certain pro players play with there revo like shaft for a few months now. I think I read it will be available in the fall? Don’t quote me on that.

The match I saw the announcers said: "that is a Cuetec......".

Revo has been letting certain players play with a Revo that is "Revo like" ?? I don't get it...…….

I sent Predator another message. Their response(2pm on 7-17): " All Revo shafts are made in our facility outside Boston, Ma., under the guidance of the chief engineer. No shafts OR components come from outside the USA." Not trying to knock Chinese-made products in any way, just getting to basis of where the Revo's are built.

I will believe it when I see it

For the guy that mentioned seyberts, sometimes they only get like 2-4 in stock at one time so they never get listed on the site. Best to call and ask on occasion. Worked for me that way once. Also seems like the last few they got in they paired with butts they were trying to sell out of.

Oops didn’t catch I typed that.. I meant cuetec has been letting certain players play with there revo like shaft. Lol

LOL! Let me clarify:

I’m happiest at an 8-10” pivot point. Not low, but maybe medium squirt. Maybe Predator will make me one.

Freddie <~~~ needs a Cornerman Revo MD shaft

Freddie...I've always appreciated your responses but I Have a question:

If you use a shaft with 8 to 10 inch pivot point but actually shoot with a 16 inch pivot point....How does that effect your aim/deflection?

Thanks,
Tennessee Joe

No worries bud... I played with the 12.5 Cuetec for about 4-5 hours last week. The newer one with the white ferrule. I really loved that shaft, more than my Revo's… hit very solid and the white ferrule makes aiming easier. They should be available soon with a little bit better price than the Pred's.

The Predator BKRush has the Revo break shaft. It’s the best break cue I’ve personally used.

Oscar thinks the Revo is the nutz. His dad I believe uses one also, but he painted it white.

I think the Revo is the future. I’d like one with more deflection, not less.

Freddie <~~~ crazy like that

Me too Freddie. Why can't they make a sliding weight or an add a metal "pad" that would be used between the tip and the shaft of differing weights to try and fine tune the amount of deflection? Then I could fine tune the amount of deflection to my taste.

I’m probably misunderstand your question or I have a typo somewhere.

The whole reason why I’d be happy with an 8 to 10 inch bridge pivot point shaft is so I could easily play at an 8 to 10 inch bridge. If I had a normal 16 inch bridge pivot, I’d be happiest with some other shaft with a 16 inch effective pivot point.

Is that what you’re asking??

If I have any random shaft, I first measure the pivot point and then play at that pivot using BHE. I’m most comfortable in the 10” range today. I cant play with front hand english and feel uncomfortable with uber long bridges like many pros use.
