Just wondering where everyone is staying during the Cup.

I had a great deal at the MGM but they booked more rooms and the deal went away. I should have booked when I first got the deal.

Ballys sent me a pretty good deal and they have the Monorail.

What other locations are close to the MGM? Excalibur, NY NY, Tropicana???

I book at least one trip to Vegas a month if not more BUT I usually go through Priceline. Always great results but I wouldnt mind trying to pick my place this time.

If you find some deals let me know... and I will do the same.

We're staying at the Excalibur. Really cheap rooms and all day buffet tickets for $29

Thanks

Best deal I could get from them was right at 200 including that stupid $25 resort fee.

I am really thinking Ballys right now if I go the Casino route. Years ago they had a unbelievable deal for $19 a night if you called and said you wanted the Ballys unpublished special. That was around 1998-2001ish
if I am rememebering right.
I asked the reservations girl on the phone to find anyone that had been there for a while if they remembered and still had any deal like that. Found one person that knew it but nothing that good now.

As it gets closer the deals by phone get better many times depending upon occupancy. For whatever reasons Vegas seems to be doing okay that weekend.

Trump Towers on the north side is coming up on Priceline for 79-99 a night. Not bad for a very nice 5* .

I booked a room at the riviera. I don't know if it's a dump or not too bad, but I'm not too picky about where i crash out. I'll probably spend about 4 hours a night in the room. The room was like $44 on the most expensive night. I ain't gonna ***** about that.

As long as a promotion at work doesn't change my plans I will be at the MGM.

me too

Rooms are cheap but it's an old place, don't expect too much...
