Well, it's just about time for the matches to start out in Las Vegas. Does anyone know if anyone will be posting scores 'as they happen'? I'm hoping so, or I'll just have to rely on the Mosconi Cup website.

Looks like just the official site has the scores. I'll be there Saturday and Sunday but I don't have a laptop or anything to post reports from at present.

According to the website, Earl has once again showed his a$$. I've never voiced my opinion on here about Earl but this is the Oscar's of pool... Does it get more elite than the Mosconi Cup?? I've heard many pro's reference it as the most prestegious "tournament" there is and that it's an honor to be there. How lovely of Earl to take being on the team for granted and to once again embarass the team and the american's in general. I'm not going to name any names but I was talking with someone that had attended the event last yr and they said that they were so embarassed by Earl that they actually went over and apologized to the European's. I'm just so disgusted with the way he acts.

Earl's antics aside, it's nice to see the american's are in the lead. The European team is strong!!

Go team USA!!:)

Invariably, Timberly, whenever Earl disgraces our sport, several on AZB claim he's misunderstood, some call him colorful, and still others suggest that his excellent track record in competiiton somehow excuses his behavior.

In my case, however, I'll join you in taking public exception to Earl's antics. The way he verbally abuses the fans if they upset him in the least is very disturbing, and it's very hard to believe that he hasn't learned his lesson yet. Pool's ship is, arguably, coming in in the form of the IPT, and yet Earl still sees no need to act with poise and civility when he competes. Tough to figure, and truly regrettable.
