I'm just going to go on the record and say that they should let the players at the Mosconi Cup practice on the TV Table. It would break the cloth in a little so that the table plays more true, and give the players a chance to get comfortable at the table. This would also improve the quality of the matches, especially early. Win/Win for everyone!
