I would love to see a Legends version of the Mosconi cup featuring some of the big names from the past. How about Earl, Keith, CJ, Nick, Buddy vs. Ortmann, Drago, Van den Berg, Engert, Davis etc.
I know some don't play much anymore, but I guarantee it would be entertaining!

So apparently Dennis has been selected, and JAM knows our entire team. There's more holes in this dam than a 20 pound block of swiss cheese!
How the heck do we get our best, hottest playing team when it's selected 6 - 12 months in advance? Hmm. Actually, by selecting and notifying players so early, these players may have a better opportunity to be in peak form come December.
I can't wait, it's far and away my most favorite pool spectacle. I'm going, again. Ain't nothing like sweating the Cup!

They will also have time to practice breaks where a number of balls go
past the head string. Something that is worthless anywhere else.
Perhaps they will be able to practice jump shots also.
Both teams and captains been picked - It is the 20th year of the mosconi cup. Matchroom do a great job, so 1 year of them picking who they want i think is allowed.
