With the Mosconi Cups teamed set to be announced in September (as they always are) has anyone found any leaks and found a player(s) who will be in the 2006 Mosconi Cup in December?

Team USA
Team USA surely begins with Johnny Archer and Corey Deuel, but after that it's not so obvious. A strong case can be made for Rodney Morris and Mike Davis, too. After that, the players sure to get some consideration are Shawn Putnam, Charlie Wiliams, Gabe Owen, and Jason Miller.

Team Europe
Team Europe must surely begin with Thorsten Hohmann, Mika Immonen, and Ralf Souquet. The team of six rates to be completed by any three of the following: Marcus Chamat, Niels Feijen, Alex Lely, Oliver Ortmann, Thomas Engert, Nick VanDenberg, Sandor Tot, Vilmos Foldes, Raj Hundal, and Andreas Roschkowsky.

Did you get that from another website or is it just your opinion buddy?

I've always had a problem predicting Team Eurupoe, but I'm pretty sure that Team USA will remain relatively unchanged.

Archer will probably be captain again, and Williams, Strickland and Morris are locks to get in.

Jones has been on the Team for the past 7 years, and seeing that he's sunk the Event-winning 9-ball several times they'll have him on board again I'm sure.

The question is whether Putnam will stay on.

Im guessing not, since Team USA tends to have a new (or different) player on board from year to year. I'm guessing they'll ditch Putnam and bring on Deuel. The only years they brought an identical team was the 2003 and 2004 years. I don't see that happening again.

Or who knows, maybe they'll invite Mike Sigel! Oy.

That might be pretty close, but i would like to add Evgeny Stalev on that list of possible Europeans and who knows about Rico Diks too.
