Just wanted to say that my Wife and I have just returned from the Moconi Cup in London and had an awesome time. I'm sorry we didn't win but would not have missed it for the World. It was loud, not sure anyone who wasn't there can really appreciate from the TV coverage just how loud it was, the place was literally vibrating! It was a very partisan crowd obviously being that it was in Europe and it was like being at a soccer match. But the vast majority were respectful of all the players, you always get the odd one wherever you are. Not sure if you saw it on TV or not but when the USA picked up their medals, the whole crowd was chanting USA, USA, which was a really nice touch.

The players from both sides were great (all of them) whenever we met them and always had time to stop and talk or sign autographs for everyone.

I want to just say that it's the first time I have ever met Dennis Hatch and want to give a big shout out to him. He would stop and talk to Brenda and I every day and we really appreciated that and he was great.

Thanks Dennis you were awesome man.

Hear hear,

I was one of those noisy european fans and i have to say Dennis was great fun, during the matches he'd sit there trying to wind up the europe fans and players to provoke a reaction (all in good humour of course) but everytime i went up to him he was a total gentleman and even though he knew i was a europe fan still took the time out to say "hi how ya doin"

The man is a a credit to the Mosconi Cup and fingers crossed he'll represent USA for many years.

From my point of view the atmosphere was fantastic, it was intense but also very friendly, the small group of USA fans who came across represented their country well, always very vocal even though they were severly outnumbered, Melanie Archer was great fun even though she was the focus of much of the european fans chants.

It was my first live Mosconi but will certainly not be my last, the York Hall is a great venue and hopefully it will stay there,

Respect to all the USA fans who travelled so far to support this great tournament

What a lot of people may not also realise is that outside the main hall, when they were simply supporting their Team, every European Fan made us very welcome. We talked to many people from all over Europe and every one without exception was a pleasure to talk too and said how glad they were we had made the trip. It was great to be back in England again, even though it was cold, we enjoyed every moment.

A big thank you to all the European Fans who made us so welcome.

Melainie Archer is a great person, a real class act, I will be seeing her Thursday night and much of the night will be spent talking about our trip I'm sure.

I am VERY hopeful that you will augment your report with more details, e.g. where did you stay, how was it, what was transportation like, bars and restaurants you liked (or didn't), getting to and from the event, etc. I know for me, the reason for not going was the intrepidation associated with answers to some of these questions. Of course, like a dummy, I didn't get some phone numbers and emails from our fellow euro fans last year. I do, however, look forward to next year's event in Vegas. And boy, wouldn't I love to see this event somewhere else......like Mohegan Sun, Boston, Florida, New Orleans.....just about anywhere but Vegas.
