Well another Mosconi Cup has come and gone and Team Europe has done it again. Of course I was pulling for Team USA to win and at least make it close, but it didn't happen.

I've been a nine ball amateur player for years and I've lost count on how many games and matches i've lost on rolls and when it's not your day the rolls go against you. I didn't see every game of the tournament due to being out of town part of the time, but what I did see Team USA got some bad rolls again this year and in my opinion some of the players seemed to play a little tight. Maybe i'm wrong and some other posters could share their views on what they think may have been the reason the Europeans won again convincingly.

There's always next year and I have to say that Mark Wilson is the right man to lead Team USA! Mark is a class act and this year we didn't have to endure any poor sportsmanship. If you have to lose do it with class and come back another day to fight again. All of us who play pool know you will never win them all and when you start a match all you can do is play your best and when it's your turn to win you will win.

Go Team USA....

We were simply outplayed. I agree that Mark did a fine job and we have trended correctly! I think that people put too much faith/hope in Shane and it was certainly painful to see the last two matches. It wasn't a three in a row 9 ball champion performance. A lot of team spirit and good sportsmanship ... go USA in 2015!!

Why every year, Team USA gets bad Rolls and Team Europe doesn't?

Time to look at something else, other than bad luck. Wouldn't you think.

Geno says its the travel and time. Combine that with bad rolls and also maybe, they don't use Cottonelle Toilly paper over there.

Come on. 11 - 5. They got out played is all.

Using cheap excuses for losing just cheapens your opponents win and makes one look a bad sport about it.

Why can't a person just say, "Yep, we got out played one more time".

I did happen to like when Mark was at the mike, he nodded over at Team USA and said, "That's our future over there".

Takes more than one season to put a good team together from the start.

Its not even close!!!!!!

We have some good players, we just have to many "Near Pro Players" and not enough "Pro Players". We should rethink our expectation and realize that if we put a team together that gets close and provides some entertainment, we've done good based on the players we can put on the field.

The Euro's can bring 3 maybe 4 full 5 man teams. We cant put together 1.

The USA has 3 guys that can play consistent "Pro Level Pool" and that's it, SVB, ARCHER AND RODNEY.

Lots of young guys in the Hunt, maybe next year?

team

Go back to points to make the team, or let the number 1 point getter, captain the team and select the team...??????
