I would like to start a forum to show support for our guys for the upcoming Mosconi Cup. They have a tough task in front of them, and I think they can win! If they stay focused, bring the "A" gear, and we get a few rolls, they can bring it home. Player matchups are going to be an important aspect as well. So c'mon show your support, and share your advice/concerns. USA! USA! USA!

My advice... Someone slip Mika a Mickey! ;)

Yeah, it's a tough road to hoe, HOWEVER...

1) It's on our turf

2) This is our 1st "post Earl" team in 14 years & with no disrespect meant, the team chemistry and dynamics are going to be quite different. IF these guys get the special gel going , watch out!

3) I refuse to sell out to the "it's just races to 5 which means the underdog has a better chance to win" excuse. Our guys can all flat out play and I trust they don't subscribe to that BS either.

4, 5 & 6) We have Johnny. Given the open and somewhat laid back personalities on this squad, I suspect he will help the Colonel in many ways. This time, Nick will be able to focus 100% on maxing the upside of each player.

GO USA!!!! Let's see to it that Roy Steffensen gets coal in his stocking for Christmas!!

KoolKat, good post! Will you be attending? How do you think the matchups should go for the doubles? Who's game is going to mesh well with who's? It will be interesting to see if no Earl changes this much. Also, I cant believe more people aren't talking this up. It should be getting Ryder Cup type hype imo. My wife, and I are going, I cant wait! Thanks for your post
