Ralf is one of the best players around. He seems like a really nice guy. Like the Mr. Rogers of pool.

Right you are, Matthew. When it comes to being a good sport and perfect gentleman, he is the European answer to Tony Robles. In fact, it was Tony Robles who first introduced me to Ralf, who was staying with him one year in the days leading up to the International Challenge of Champions at Mohegan Sun. The next time I saw Ralf was about seven months later at the BCA Open in Vegas, and I have to admit I was a little bit shocked when Ralf approached me to say hello and remembered my name.

I hope that one day, Matthew, you get to know Ralf. He might just be the Mr Rogers of pool!
