Mosconicup and the British mob

More than 10 thousansd Brits came to vegas for the Boxing match over the weekend.If some of those guys hang around for mosconi cup we will be in big trouble as we may not have enough Americans to cheer USA and to counteract those rowdy British.I think that patriotic Americans should fly over to vegas to tackle the rowdy Brits.
Note: There was a thread started by fleece on Mosconi cup but the theme was different.I did not want to hijack his thread and hence started another one.:cool:

I will be there pulling for the red, white and blue. Go USA.
 
Create some more hate by telling those blokes your favorite soccer teams are Argentina and Germany, just to make things a little icier. And don't forget to remind them how bad they bit the bullet against Croatia last month :)

In the previous mosconi cup the Brits were noisy till the United States Marines in one tournament drowned their noise .Brits never were physically violent at pool tournaments like they have been at the soccer matches.Hence I refrained from using the word hooligan.These guys are fun to be around.At the end of the day I like those Brits.:cool::cool:

I will never create hate here and I am just trying to create enthusiasm for Mosconi cup.I like those Blokes any way.
 
you have the better pool players but you'll never out-sing us! it's a football culture we have over here which u don't have. most americans don't quite 'get' the culture and the idealogy behind it. prime example is earl!

but i'm pulling for USA simply because my favourite players are american. besides, i've got more in common with you americans than i have with any germans, finns, dutch or maltese!

Even as a German I have to admit that Brits are the best supporters around. (Of course with the exception of my favourite german club ;) )

You only sing when you're winning
You're supposed to, you're supposed to, you're supposed to be at home

Heck, I even enjoyed them performing 10 german bombers during WC 06

Keep the fingers crossed for Team Europe
 
That's one way for ESPN to lead off with pool, by having an indoor riot at a pool tournament.:)

I think everything will be ok though. Probably most of them are not even aware of a Mosconi Cup. And fewer still are probably pool fans.
 
coming from grimsby a famous fishing town I like our chant best.

When the oposition support is low on numbers instead of the usual "you must have come in a taxi chant" we tend to sing "you must have come in a trawler" :)

I will be there as well.

When watching the fight saturday I told my buddy that some of them had to have known about the Mosconi Cup and that they wouldnt likely just be coming for a weekend.

Should be fun!
