Most balls made on the break?

Coondogg

Just looking...
Hey everyone. Just curious as to the most balls you've made on the break or seen made on the break playing 9-ball on a 9' table. Personally, I've made 6 a couple times and 5 several.

Also, if you have made a ton of balls on a barbox please share.

just in case he is too modest to tell, i have seen badabing make 5 balls on the break. in fact he got an award for it from our league.

I have no luck at all so I'm lucky when I make even more than one ball on the break. But a few times, I've snapped some high numbers (yet luck still got the better of me).

Once, I made six... and still wound up safe.
Another time, I made five object balls (and the cue ball).

i made 7 balls on a 9 foot gold crown when i was 13 years old. the table used to belong to wimpy lassiter. i was playing a guy named rob perry and ed tarkington (one of wimpy's old road partners) was watching. the only balls on the table were the 2, 8, and the cue ball.

9-ball: 6, three times, never got out, never had a shot at it.

8-ball: 7 balls on a bar table, didn't get out. I think I missed the first shot.

Fred <~~~ usually makes 7 balls in about a week

Fast Larry Guninger (Grindinger) of Atlanta, Georgia holds the world record for making all 9 balls on the break blindfolded - one hand in the air - juggling 7 Ginsu's in the other hand while feeding peanuts to an elephant. Prove it aint true.

:p :p :p

I know a guy that knows a guy :) that broke a 9 ball rack and made every ball on the table except the 9 and he scratched!

I have made 6 balls on the break once playing 9 ball at Players Billiards in Melbourne, FL (made the 9 as one of my 6 balls). After that break I was sure that I had finally figured out the break, I wacked them again the exact same way and didn't make anything and my cueball ended up on the floor...oh well!

thanks Guy, but I should add that it was 5 in on the break in 8 ball on a nine foot table.

CueTable Help

I made 3 balls on the break on a diamond barbox (racked as above) to win a $650 pot.

I still laugh when I think about it.

That's nothing, I once made 15 balls on the break playing 9 ball.

In 9 ball I have made four and like most of the others here I had no clean shot or hit at the one. I've also had the misfourtune of having a guy make the 9 ball 4 times in a race to 7 for a small amount of $. Now when I play that guy I always try and negotiate for "the breaks" as part of my spot;)

Hahaha ! :D

Actually, I heard he trained his dog to do it as well.

Me ? No big break for me... I'd say I usually make enough, not much ;)
