A friend of mine is in Vegas right now for the first time. She made it through the 9b brackets to the final board starting tomorrow. I congratulated her on FB, and also on her boyfriend helping her game, although he didn't want to take much credit. She posted the following on FB which I found to be an absolute great comment for any player to think about.

Thanks!! Everyone I've ever played has had an impact on my game.

After I got waxed for many hundreds to a road player I didn't know, my steerman said:

"I guess I ain't gettin no jelly from you tonight!"

(afterwhich, somehow his lugnuts got loosened - steer that donkey!)
