If it's helpful, my late 40's, very early 50's Brunswick Anniversary has MOP sights. I plan to replace them with green, semi-translucent montana moss agate... they will either be slightly domed or flat and flush, but will have a high polish. I will be cutting and polishing these (all 17 of them) myself.

Please post pics when this is done. I bet it will be gorgeous.

I have round MOP sights on a 1947 Brunswick.

Imagine them back lit with tiny LEDs. Does anyone make glow-in-the-dark billiard balls for a novelty item? Would be fun entertainment to turn the lights out and play. But even if balls like that weren't available, I figure the illuminating gems will be quite the "site".

There are some blacklight balls on the market, but I've never seen any glow in the dark.

I'll soon be cutting the slabs from my green moss agate boulders. Did some precision measuring first, and before I slice the stone, I'll crack the MOP sites out of there and determine the depth of the existing holes and drill holes for the LED lights to mount. Looking forward to this project.

I posted this pic in my progress thread, but thought I'd update this one as well. However, I'm now in a quandary... green moss agate, or Tiger's Eye (no backlighting necessary).
