Mottey Cues in Japan

Here they are, kids. My humble Mottey collection. The maple forearm cue was bought about 4 years ago. The ebony with the snakewood points just got here last week and the straight ebony with the fancy rings is my wife's cue. It got here in August of '06. The ebony/snakewood cue is 59 inches long. I'm fairly tall so I requested a longer cue. It plays like a dream. My cues have Triangle tips and my wife uses Moori M's. Personally, I miscue left and right doing draw shots with Moori tips. Can't stand 'em.

Notice that the ebony/snake cue has PM on the butt cap as opposed to him signing it. I didn't want the signature in white on the forearm. Thought it would look tacky.

Really nice!

Can't wait to get my cues from Mottey in a couple more months. Been waiting 5 months already.

Very nice indeed.

What an awesome trio of cues. I too have a snakewood cue by Mottey. He really builds a top notch cue in all aspects.

Funny thing is that my wife's plain Jane is probably the most comfortable of the 3. I really like the hit....except for those damn Morri tips. hehe! This ebony/snakewood cue has only been played with 3 times so far so the tip and the shaft still have that new feel to them. I can't wait to see what it turns into once the shaft gets broken in and settled.

the maple cue is officially retired....for a while at least

That's not too bad, I've been waiting for my JMW for around 9 months now and still have several to go...lol.

whats paul charge for a plain jane with the fancy rings like that?

that cue is NICE...

I paid 2200 for it. 1800 for the straight ebony and then 400 for the ringwork and lizard wrap. It really is a nice looking cue when you get up on it and look at it. But from a distance, I hate to say it, but it looks like a house cue.
