Mounting Cue Rack??

I have an very nice old Brunswick Cue Rack and am setting up a basement room. How high off the floor do I mount the rack? Is there some kind of standard height? Or am I just making something of nothing (like just mount the thing..........

The bottom of mine is 18" off the floor. I searched high and low for one that did not have the crappy plastic snaps that hold the cue. I'm very happy with this one. The holes at the top are lined with felt. Yours looks like a very nice one also.

before i hang up anything i let it sit in the area where it will go for a few days.take your time and think about it..there is no set place or height just what will work for you.

I agree with cuejoey on this one. I had my stuff in one place in my room and after a couple of days I realized it was not the right place...the second place I put it was more effective and useful. I was glad I just let it sit there instead of drilling holes and putting in anchors right of way.
